You can modify your prices or create new products directly from your Backoffice, the update will be done automatically after a synchronisation of your cash register.
Creating a product
- From the main screen, click on Data > Products / Formulas
- Choose the section of the product to create
- Click on + and New product at the bottom right corner of the screen
- Fill in the name and information of the product
- Specify the price of the product depending on the sales mode
Here you can set a selling price according to the sales method of the product : when you’ll open a new ticket by selecting the sales method, this right price will be automatically selected. You can also set the price as a Free price : when you sell your product, the price of the item will be automatically requested. - Adjust the VAT if necessary depending on the sales method
Depending on the sales method, set the correct VAT rate : it allows you to sell a drink to 5.5 % when it’s sold to takeaway and 10 % when it’s sold on site. - You can put a photo to your product if you want to
- Validate the creation of your product
Trick : if no price is set on a sales method, then the product will not appear when you’ll open a new ticket on this sales method.
Archiving / Deleting a product
You have two possibilities to remove a product from your sales screen : archiving or permanent deletion.
· Archiving a product
Archiving a product allows you to remove it from the sales screen while keeping it in your data so you can reuse it later.
- From the main screen, click on Data > Products / Formulas
- Choose the section of the product to archive
- Find your product and archive it by switching it off on the right
The product remains in your data, it appears in grey and disappears from the sales screen.
In order to restore it, you must do the same operation and switch it on.
· Deleting a product
Deleting a product allows you to remove it from the sales screen but also to permanently delete it from your data. This product will be kept in your invoice history and also in your sales data.
- From the main screen, click on Data > Products / Formulas
- Choose your product
- Then, click on the red bin icon that appears on the right
- Confirm the removing
The product is now permanently deleted from your data.
