Information from the note setup – Backoffice

This information is required when you open a new note. It’s customisable and it allows you to adapt the application to your activity.
For example, you can use it to specify a table number, the number of covers, a free comment or any other type of information.

 

Creating an Information from the note

  1. Click on Data > Information from the note
  2. Fill in the name of the information from the note
    For a restaurant, you can create an info “table number” or “number of covers”
    For a fast-food or a food-truck, you can create an info “order number”, “delivery address”
  3. Indicate if it’s a numeric information
    In this case, the information can only be a number, such as a table number. Otherwise, the information will be text
  4. Indicate if it’s a combined information
    Example : table numbers are not combined in a restaurant but the number of covers yes.
  5. Select the sales mode(s) on which this info note should be required
    Make it mandatory if this information is necessary to continue the cashing. It avoids forgetting to indicate important information for your statistics.
  6. Validate the creation

The information from the note is now configured and will be requested automatically each time you open a note.

 

Archive / Delete an Information from the note

You have two possibilities to remove an information note when opening a new ticket : archiving or permanent deletion.

· Archiving an Information from the note

Archiving an information note allows you to make it disappear when opening a new ticket while keeping it in your data so you can reuse it later.

  1. Click on Data > Information from the note
  2. Disable the switch in front of the information from the note to archive

The information note remains in your data, it appears in grey and no longer appears when opening a new ticket.
For unarchiving the information from the note, you must do the same operation and activate the switch.

· Deleting an Information from the note

The deletion of an information from the note allows you to make it disappear when opening a new ticket and also to remove it from your data. This one will still be in your Invoice history and also in your sale statistics.

  1. Click on Data > Information from the note
  2. Click on the bin in front of the information from the note to delete

Then, the information from the note is permanently deleted from your data.
