Introduction
The simplified stock management function is available from the 5.05.001 version.
The stock management is independent for each device and can be used without Internet connection.
The stock synchronisation is not available between several POS, you can activate this simplified stock management on each POS and also on your Backoffice.
· Two ways of stock management available :
- A shop / store stock management, called Stock management, that makes it possible to follow the evolution of your stock according to your inventories, entry stocks, sales and stock withdrawals. The stock can be reboot by an inventory and is stored after each cashing up.
- A catering / bakery stock management, called Inventory management upon the service opening, that allows you to follow your stock by service. The user can then manage his dish / drink stocks by rebooting the stock at the beginning of each service
Stock management activation
From the main screen :
- Click on Settings
- Tick Activate the Stock management
- Tick Manage the inventory upon the service opening only if you want to reboot the stock at each cashing up / closing of service.
Once the stock management is activated, a button Stock management appears in the menu bar on the left of the main screen of your POS.
Inventory within stock template
From the main screen :
- Click on Stock management in the menu bar
If an inventory is yet in progress, select New inventory in the menu, if not go on Step 2 - Select Enter a new inventory or choose an existing template if you’ve already saved one, then click on Use an existing template
The inventory input interface is empty if you’ve chosen a new inventory, if not the selected inventory template appears - Select the products and quantities you want to integrate to your inventory
This screen allows you to scan the products if they have a barcode - Once your inventory fully input, click on Validate or Validate + Print
- Then, indicate if you want to save or not your inventory so you can keep it as a template
Ignore > The inventory template won’t be saved and you couldn’t use it for your next inventory
Save > The inventory template is saved and you can give it a name to use it for a future inventory
Trick : when you input an inventory to 0, within inserting products, and you validate, your stock is fully reset
Stock entry and stock withdrawal
As sales progress, the stock of your products is automatically decreasing at each entry in real-time.
It’s also possible to make stock input and stock output manually for several reasons : restocking, delivery, withdrawal for breaking, out-of-date product, loss, defective product…
· Stock input
From the main screen:
- Click on Stock management
- Click on Stock input
- Select products and quantities to be stocked
This screen also allows you to scan products if they have a barcode - Once the list is completed, click on Validate or Validate + Print
Your stock input is validated and you can see these stock quantities on your next sale.
· Stock output
From the main screen :
- Click on Stock management
- Click on Stock output
- Select products and quantities to remove from stock
This screen also allows you to scan products if they have a barcode - Once the list is completed, click on Validate or Validate + Print
Your stock withdrawal is validated, these quantities will no longer be visible on the stock status.
Stock alert
This functionality allows you to define an alert threshold for each item.
This action has to be done when your Cash register is connected to the Internet.
From the main screen :
- Click on My data > Products and then select your item
- Click on the Stock tab
- Define the alert threshold for this item and Validate the change concerning the item
When the alert threshold of an item is exceeded, the counter of the input note interface will be red and an alert message will appear on the main screen of the app.
Stock status and stock check
Editing of the stock status is available, so you can have a global overview of the stock at time T and check the stock alert products.
From the main screen :
- Click on Stock management
- Click on Inventory status since the last survey
Then, the stock status appears on your screen. You can display only the stock alert products by ticking the associated box at the top of the tab. You can also print the inventory status by clicking on Print.
· Inventory check from your Backoffice :
- Click on Points of sale > Devices
- Look for the device or the POS system on which you want to check the inventory status and click on Dashboard
- Click on Current stock
The inventory status appears on the screen and you can export it in CSV format by clicking on the CSV button.
