The options allow you to associate your products with specific choices when you enter a ticket. You can limit the quantity entered per product and also set supplements depending on the options.
For example, if you are a restaurant owner, your ca create a COOKING option list containing Very rare, Rare, Medium rare, Well done…
Here are other examples of using the options :
- Size of a bouquet of flowers : Large / Medium / Small
- Number of parts for a pastry : 4 parts / 8 parts / 12 parts
- Color for a T-shirt : Blue / Red / Yellow
- Ice cream flavors for a two-scoop ice cream : Vanilla / Pistachio / Chocolate
- Sauces for a sandwich accompaniments for a dish, perfumes of syrup…
Creating a list of options :
- From the main screen, click on My data > Options
- Click on +, at the bottom right corner of the screen
- Fill in the name of the options list
- Specify the maximum number of entries allowed for the option
This will define how many options can be selected. Example : 1 for the choice of a cooking, 2 for the choice of a two-scoop ice cream, 2 for the choice a sauce… - Tick the box Compulsory if you want to make the option mandatory
When you will click on the product associated to this option, you’ll be forced to enter this option to continue your sale, useful to not forget anything ! - Click on Add a value to add your first option
- Fill in the name of the first option
If necessary, you can specify the amount of the supplement in GBP - Then, add the other values of your option
- Click on Validate
Your options lit is now set, you must now associate this list to one or more products in order to propose it for a sale.
Associate an option to a product :
- From the main screen, click on My data > Products
- Select the product on which you want to add the option
- Click on the Options tab in the menu bar at the top of the screen
- Select the options list(s) you want to apply to this product
- Validate at the bottom right corner of the screen
Modify an option :
- From the main screen, click on My data > Options
- Click on the grey pen of the option you want to modify
- Apply your modifications : change the name, the number of enters, compulsory or not, change its content…
- Click on Validate
Remove an option :
- From the main screen, click on My data > Options
- Click on the grey bin of the option you want to remove
- Confirm the removal of the option by clicking on Ok
