Production levels setup – Backoffice

The management of production levels is particularly useful for restaurants. Indeed, it will help them to print tickets to the right place (kitchen, bar, cash register) and at the right time (the dish after the starters, the drinks for the starters…).

Note : you must configure the “Production levels management” on a sales mode before you can manage production levels. Please see the online help for this.


Production levels activation :

  1. Click on Data and then on Sales mode
  2. Select the Sales mode on which you want to activate the production levels
  3. On the line Production management, select Production levels management and validate
  4. Refresh the page
  5. Go back in My data and click on Production Management
    By default, 10 production levels are set up. If you want to change one, click on it.
  6. Indicate the name and the colour you want for this production level and validate


Apply the production levels to a section :

This step is only possible after enabling the production level management.

  1. Click on Data and then on Sections
  2. Click on the pen to the right of the section to which you want to associate production levels
  3. Indicate the production level you want to apply to this section with the help of the scrollable list and validate

All the products in the modified section will automatically be positioned on the selected level when you enter a new note. Of course, you can change the production level when you enter a ticket if this one is not suitable for a particular order.


Apply the production levels to a product :

When a product must not be sent on the same production level than the other products of the section, you can define a specific production level for this product.

  1. Click on Data and then on Products
  2. Select the product on which the production levels must be activated
  3. In the Production level section, select the production level you want to apply to this product and validate


Apply the production levels to a formula

  1. Click on Data and then on Products
  2. Select the formula on which the production levels must be activated
  3. In the General tab, select the production levels you want to apply with the help of the scrollable list
  4. Click on the Detail tab
  5. Modify or create a New category and indicate the production level of the category; repeat this operation on each category
  6. Validate
