Orders setup

The cash register order module allows you to register and manage your customer’s orders. Thanks to this management, you can view the orders by day, by time slot and by customer.
You can efficiently track the progress of your orders by changing the orders status. When it’s time to deliver the order, your turn the order into a ticket to cash your client and generate the invoice.

The use of the orders requires a permanent Internet connection.

 

Orders setup

 

· Activation of orders and delivery by sales modes

From the main screen :
  1. Go in My data >  Sales mode
  2. Activate the order management on the sales mode you want
  3. Click on Validate

In order to activate the delivery on a sale method, you have to activate the orders management on the sale method first.

 

· Order status

Your orders will go through different status, which will allow you to follow the evolution of each order.
By default, 3 status are created :

  • Unprocessed : means that your order has not been processed yet
  • Closed : means that your order has been processed, completed and cashed
  • Canceled : means that your order has been canceled by your client or by yourself

If need be, you can create your own order status, like for example “In progress” or “Delivering”. To do so :

From the main screen :
  1. Go in Orders > Configuration at the top-right corner of the screen, then click on the Order Statuses tab
  2. Click on + at the bottom right corner of the screen to add a new order status
  3. Indicate the name of the order status
  4. Choose the color of your order status
  5. Validate

 

· Time slots

When you enter a new order, the app asks you to indicate a time of preparation for the order, which will define a time of recovery or delivery of the order.
By creating time slots, when you enter an order you can indicate an hour or a time slot for the recovery or delivery hour of the order, for example if your order ha not fixed time but a time slot.
You can create up to 10 time slots, like for example “Morning”, “Afternoon”, “Evening”, “Lunch service”, “Dinner service”… To do so :

From the main screen :
  1. Go in Orders > Configuration at the top-right corner of the screen, then click on the Time slots tab
  2. Click on + at the bottom right corner of the screen to add a new time slot
  3. Indicate the denomination of the time slot
  4. Indicate the starting and ending time of the time slot
  5. Validate
